How kind of you, Georgette. I hope you do enjoy the stories. Personally, I consider myself trans. I started largely with crossdressing, as we all do. When I started running FionaDobson.com the language didn't seem problematic - but that was nearly 10 years ago and things have changed a lot in that time. Some blogs begin and end with discussions about 'what is trans and what do we call ourselves'? I don't really think that the language has caught up with us yet. I agree that these days terminology is troublesome - but in the end it's just a label.
I am who I am. I wear a skirt, lipstick and eyeshadow, and I will pick up a sparrow with a broken wing and nurse it. My aesthetic is a small part of the feminine self I have become - though an important one. I can understand your comments, but my kind suggestion is this - don't get hung up on the labels, and enjoy the content. It's here for you, after all. A lot of work goes into it and I understand a lot of people enjoy it. :) Fiona
