Max has got it up.
Hi,
I was sitting in the kitchen with Julie, Katia, Oakley and Sylvester just the other morning, watching Ali moving one of the statues in the back garden, when a thought crossed my mind.
“You know how Time Magazine has a ‘Man Of The Year’? Why don’t we?” I asked.
“I can’t remember anyone worthy,” said Katia, true to form.
“There’s no reason in the world why you shouldn’t ask the members to nominate someone,” cut in Julie.
Not to be outdone, Sylvester said, “I nominate Bernard. After being violate by a carrot, I think he deserves it!” Now, if you’re not familiar with that whole debacle you can read about it here.
“I’m thinking more of people in the public eye, although I think Bernard is not a bad idea,” I mused.
“I nominate Sarah Huckabee Sanders,” cut in Oakley. “She’s more of a man than most people I know. And she has a man’s dress sense, too!”
“I assume by that, you mean none at all,” I muttered.
Sylvester then suggested Ray Gillette, from the Archer TV series. “But he’s a fictional intelligence officer,” I pointed out.
“I don’t see why that would exclude him,” said Julia.
“I suppose one could say that anyone in the White House Administration could be described as a ‘fictional intelligence’ officer, so that shouldn’t exclude him. All right he’s in,” I agreed.
“But we should let some members make suggestions too,” insisted Julie. “They could email in suggestions, and we could have Max compile a list and put it up every few days.”
“That’s about all Max is going to be putting up,” said Oakley. “He’s a strange boy.”
“On the web,” insisted Julie. “We can have him put it up and get people to vote.”
