From the pages of a tattered journal written by a suburban housewife in the 1950’s I have drawn a number of quite sordid accounts. As disturbing as some are, I feel they hold at least some educational value. Be sure to read and comment. MM

How peaceful the mornings are once Bill is off at work. And this week he has to travel to the Minneapolis office, the headquarters of his firm. They are trying some new training method, bringing most of the managers and assistant managers to their office to talk about something called ‘supply chain’. It is all very boring, but leaves me a little time to go to the beach and enjoy some of the sunny weather we’re enjoying.

I’ve been finding it most amusing lately to go shopping with Magdalene. She’s such a free spirit. We go and buy numerous clothes, then bring them home and try them on, often swapping this or that.

I had a great time shopping with her just yesterday morning, after I’d dropped off Little Billy, and then we came back to my place for lunch. After a quick bite we laid out all our purchases and began trying them out.

I do love to mix and match. And it’s so sensible doing it this way, as we often end up sharing our clothes. It’s so very economical.
